No "wearing in" required. This design has good support around your ankles. A nice cushion for under feet and lovely soft upper straps, they don't rub.

Super Comfy sandals accommodate my wide feet. The leather upper and footbed is soft and the sole provides a cushioned yet stable support. Stylish as well! I bought another pair in another colour I liked them so much
Only criticism is the colour has transferred a little onto my feet
