Yashley Black Tumble Nubuck Knee High Boots

These boots are nice quality, like all D&J shoes/boots.The Yashley style is slightly more dressy than some designs and I feel like the ankle strap will help to disguise the inevitable slouch that develops around the ankles of knee high boots. I really like D&J shoes and boots, I now have many pairs in this brand and I like the shape of the last which fits my wide feet. I always go up one size to allow space to insert an arch support orthotic, and in the case of knee high boots, this gives my large calves a bit of extra room. I can recommend these for people looking for a decent looking/quality knee high black boot — especially for those with larger feet and/or calves. This Yashley design seems slightly on the larger size compared to other D&J knee high boots I own. I bought my usual size 42 and this feels commensurate with my Supersoft size 41 knee high boots (which are a brand designed for a wider fit) Unfortunately, the one major disappointment is that these are NOT TUMBLED LEATHER / NUBUCK. They are regular polished leather. I bought these at 40% off, so I don't mind too much, but if I'd paid full price, I would not be happy, as these are very overpriced for ordinary leather. I wish Styletread would change the listing to reflect the true nature of the leather finish. The quality of the leather is decent. D&J leather is always nice. In comparison to other D&J knee high boots...these are a thinner, less robust leather than the Malachi or Mikan boots but are thicker and not as smooth or elegant as the Zodiak boots.
