Stylish, easy to put on, comfortable underfoot

I’m a sucker for natural fibres like raffia and cotton so i was a bit disappointed that the darker colour , unlike the lighter one, is synthetic. No matter, it still looks good and the acrylic faux buckle ( fastened by rip tape) is imo stylish.
I have deducted one star because whilst these are comfortable to wear for the short term, having an impact-absorbing and non-slip sole, i’ve found that when my feet swell after all-day wear, the buckle bites into my arch. The “raffia” is non-stretch but the width across the instep is adjustable so there is room for expansion .
