deteriorating quality

This is the third or fourth pair of Skechers we’ve bought for our 3-year-old daughter, and the hook-and-loop closures on this pair broke in less than a month. On one shoe, the lining of the closure has separated, and on the other it has torn. I’ve noticed that the overall quality of Skechers shoes has been declining over the past few years with the adult pairs I buy regularly — each pair seems to wear out faster than the last. Unfortunately, I’m now seeing the same decline in the toddler shoes as well.
