Volte Black Leather Ankle Boots

I have had three pairs of these roc boots (2 were the previous version of this boot) and all of them have had the same split at the mid of the soles. My first pair I called a loss and thought I did something wrong, but the second pair did the same thing within the first 6mths. I spoke to customer service and was given these as a replacement, as it was noted as a manufacturing fault. Same thing happened with the new shoes however this time I was dismissed when I asked about it, and told it was my fault. This time the crack also happened under a year of owning them. I use these as work shoes in a private medical clinic, so unfortunately these boots are made for looks and not for what boots would be used for. I hadn't even taken them to festivals/ barely wore them outside. They also do not have options for repairs or replacement soles. I love the shoes, but cannot recommend them as a good shoe when they cost this much. The claims of "everyday shoe" and "durable soles" are not correct in my three different experiences. The change in opinion on what is a manufacturing issue to what is now is my fault is the reason for only 2 stars instead 3. While I understand there is nothing to be done, the contradiction in responses to the issue felt wrong, and the claim of boots only worn on carpet lasting for only 12mths is a joke in my opinion when the above is listed in the ad and the claim was that this shoe was meant to more durable than the previous version.
