Beautiful but a little big and too expensive

These are beautiful and stylish but about half a size too big. I got a 39 but if I went down to a 38 they'd be too tight in length. I can fit one finger into the top of the loafer. The suede ribbon that the charms are on is not very secure, it looked like one was coming undone and the charms create a scrape line in the suede while walking. The sole has good grip. I had more difficulties matching this colour with other clothing than expected. I'd probably have kept them if they were cheaper. They are well made though.
