Nice shoes but the squeaky soles are driving me nuts

The shoes are comfortable and good quality. When I tried them on and walked around in the shop I noticed the sole was squeaky when I walked, but assumed it was just because the flooring in the shop was very smooth and shiny. After getting the shoes home I discovered the shoes squeak on every surface except concrete - this is very annoying. Hopefully the squeaking stops with more ware but I am not confident it will.
