Hi there, I recently purchased a pair of Blundstone boots for approximately $260, and after only the third use, I experienced an issue that I honestly found very surprising and disappointing. I was attending a normal bonfire gathering at my house, wearing the boots in a completely ordinary situation. The boots were not placed directly in the fire or touching hot coals — they were simply exposed to the heat while standing around the bonfire, something I’ve done many times before with other work boots without any issue. I work in hospitality and regularly use boots in demanding conditions, including mud, wet weather, and different temperatures, and I have never experienced soles melting like this with any previous boots I’ve owned. Given Blundstone’s reputation for durability and quality, I did not expect the sole to deform and melt from what I would consider normal use around outdoor heat exposure. Considering the price and reputation of the product, I was hoping for a much higher level of resistance and durability. I would appreciate if this situation could be reviewed under warranty or if any solution could be offered. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
