How to Return

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

We know that shoes don't always fit so we've made it as easy as possible for you to send something back!

Please note that you will need to have access to a printer to complete the return.

1. Check that you qualify for a return

  • Were the items purchased in the last 30 days?
  • Are your items in their original condition?
  • Are they still in their original packaging or shoe box (we consider this a part of the product)?

Once you have checked you qualify for a return, pack the items you want to return into the original packaging or branded shoe box and place it into your Styletread carton or similar cardboard box.

Please make sure all returns are sent back to Styletread within 30 days from the date of purchase. We do not accept returns after the 30 day return period has ended.

Are you in New Zealand?

Returns for New Zealand customers are arranged over the phone by one of our customer service team members. Please contact us to arrange a return.

eBay and Trade Me Customers

Please be advised eBay and Trade Me customers cannot use the Styletread website to book a free return. eBay and Trade Me customers are liable for the postage cost of returning products.

2. Choose an option for free returns (Australian customers only)

Select your FREE return from one of the following options:




ParcelPoint is an easy way to return your online purchases. Choose from hundreds of trusted stores such as pharmacies, convenience stores and newsagencies to drop off your parcel at times and locations more convenient for you.

Australia Post

If you don’t have a ParcelPoint location close to you, choose any Australia Post outlet as a return option instead.

Both of these return methods are free and include a tracking number. You must return your item to us within 30 days from the date of purchase as per our Returns Policy.


Courier pick up is available between Monday and Friday (excl. public holidays). We arrange for the courier to pick up the items on the business day and location that's best for you. Courier pick up times are 12pm - 5pm Mon to Fri and customers MUST be there at the time of collection as unattended parcels will not be picked up.

You will be asked to print and attach the address label to the package. A confirmation email will be sent after 9am (Sydney time) the next morning.

The email includes a StarTrack return address label (known as a consignment note) as well as a driver’s manifest.

Print and stick this to the box, have the driver’s manifest ready and it's all set to hand over to the StarTrack courier!

Return Bookings are organised once a day by Customer Service between 9am – 10am only. We will do our best to book according to your preferences however those times may not be available in all areas, depending on our couriers availability.

Once we have booked your pick up you will be sent an email with all of the details. Please check this carefully so you know when to be available.

If there are any issues with your courier pick up, and it does not take place as scheduled, please notify us as soon as possible so we can re-book this for you. Your booking is for the scheduled day only and will not carry over to subsequent days.

How long does the return process take?

It will usually take up to 2-10 working days for the return to come back to the Styletread warehouse depending on the method of return.

Estimated return times:

Star Track - 2 to 4 business days
Australia Post - 7 business days
Parcel Point - up to 10 business days

You will get an email from us to let you know it arrived at our warehouse safe and sound.

Please Note: During peak trading times including but not limited to Christmas and sale, refunds may take slightly longer to process.

When the return is approved for a refund, it will be processed by our Finance team within 3 working days. We'll send you an email to let you know that the refund was carried out. The refund will be credited back to the same credit card or PayPal account that you paid from.

Once your refund has been processed by our Finance Team, please allow approximately 1 to 7 business days for the funds to appear back into your account, depending on your financial institution.


I love my order but I bought the wrong size!

We recommend that you order the shoe in the correct size as soon as you can because we do not offer order exchanges and we really don’t want you to miss out! Then follow the above steps to send back the size you don't want.


Where do I find my External Document Number?

Your External Document number can be found in two places:

1) At the bottom of your order confirmation email or

2) On the piece of paper found in the box with your order under the heading 'Tax Invoice'.

This External Document number can also be used as a reference number when you are contacting customer service.

Faulty or Damaged Shoes?

Styletread's Returns Policy includes the rights you are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law.

If you have received faulty/damaged shoes, please send us photos of where the damage/fault is, as well as a photo of the whole shoe to – for further assessment. We may also consult with the supplier or manufacturer to determine if the item is faulty.

If you wish to return a faulty good after the 30-day return period, please contact our Customer Happiness Team.

If the item is found to be faulty, you will receive a full refund for that item including the delivery charge unless the delivery charge has been previously refunded for that order.
