HEEL & BOOT MEASUREMENTS
Shopping shoes online can be a tricky process, especially when methods of measuring heel and boot heights differ.
To make it as easy as possible for you to find the right pair of shoes on our website, we’ve put together this handy guide explaining our measuring process.
All shoes are measured on a flat surface and our measurements are generally taken from a women’s EU 37 or US 7. Men’s shoe measurements are generally taken from a EU 43 or US 9.
HEEL HEIGHT |
When we measure a heel, we start at the bottom of the heel and measure up to where the heel connects to the shoe. |
WEDGE HEIGHT |
When we measure a wedge, we start at the bottom of the wedge and measure up to where the wedge connects to the shoe. |
PLATFORM HEIGHT |
When measuring a platform, we start at the bottom of the sole and measure up to where the sole connects to the shoe. |
SHOE WITH RAISED FOOTBED |
In some instances a shoe features a raised footbed. In this case, we include the footbed height in the heel height so customers are aware of the highest measurement. |
BOOT HEIGHT |
When measuring boot heights, we start where the heel connects to the boot and then measure to the tallest part of the boot. |
BOOT CIRCUMFERENCE |
To find the boot circumference, we take the measurement from the widest part of the boot opening. |
Please Note:
While we make every effort to ensure the information contained on our website is correct, inconsistencies in heel heights and other measurements may occur. Measurements can differ depending on many factors, including the size of shoe you order.
